Hello everyone, I am new to PC building and I need a better understanding of how PCIe lanes work. I am going to build this computer: http://pcpartpicker.com/list/pzcxGf
which has an Asus Z170M Plus motherboard with an i7 6700k and an EVGA GTX 1080 FTW. I am also going to use the Samsung 950 EVO M.2 SSD. Will I encounter any problems with PCIe lanes? I really appreciate the feedback.

Solution
A single graphics card and an M.2 won't have any issues. The graphics card is connected to PCIe lanes supplied by the CPU, the M.2 is connected to PCIe lanes supplied by the Z170 chipset.

Great thank you! Now there's something else I noticed when searching around, will this motherboard have any troubles supporting the Samsung 950 Evo? It says it's a NVMe based drive, to quote: Next Generation M.2 SSD Based on NVMe Protocol (PCIe, Gen. 3, x4) capable of 32 Gigabit per second transfer rate.

The motherboard says "M.2 socket and SATA Express connector support PCIe and SATA devices in PCIe and SATA modes.

Based on this, should I be fine? Thanks again.
