Should I upgrade my mobo before getting a new GPU?

Hey everybody, first time poster here.

I am a budget gamer, love to game, but being a single dad with not a lot of income it comes hard to spend money on myself very often. That being said I would really like to upgrade my GPU now with all the new cards coming out. I am currently thinking of either the RX 480 or more then likely the GTX 1060.

I want to find out though if my current hardware will be sufficient enough to run a new GPU. Currently I have a custom build I built a year or two ago, and its worked really well for me for what I put into it. Its got a Foxconn H67s mobo with an i-3 2100 CPU, a Radeon HD 6770, running 2x8gb fury x 1333mhz ram, all powered by a 400 watt power supply.

I already plan to upgrade the power supply to a 600 or 750 watt PSU before I do any other upgrades so I have sufficient power. I really need to find out though if my current mobo will be ok to put a new GPU into. Because of my income I will need to upgrade piece by piece, so my other question would be, would it be smarter to just upgrade my mobo first and continue with the hardware I have until I can afford to upgrade to upgrade the GPU. One thing I want to say though, even if my current mobo is able to work well with a new GPU I will still upgrade the mobo, just later in the future after I am done hyperventilating from the money I will be spending.

Thanks in advance for any help, I appreciate it.

Yeah I plan to get the new PSU first, no way my current would be able to run everything I figured. I am thinking grab the PSU then a couple weeks or so after get the GPU.
