Greetings guys again,
i need help about amd products, since i never bought from them but rather from intel, and therefore i don't know a lot.

Ok, i got this old motherboard: Asus M2N68-AM SE (which i coudn't even find proper specs on asus website). Now the thing is i found it supports AM2 and AM2+ cpu's, but for the FSB it says: 1600 MHz, 2000 MHz.

Does that mean i can actually use AMD Phenom X4 9650 ? Or if not what are good and cheap cpu's on ebay that i can find ?

Solution
I dont think so asus only lists the M2N68-AM and M2N68-AM PLUS. If they are different I dont think it will affect cpu compatibility, both are AM2+ so that cpu will definitely fit. You need BIOS revision 0301 or newer to support the X4 9650, you likely already have that or newer.

Well whould i need to update BIOS ? If so, is this the right link: https://www.asus.com/in/Motherboards/M2N68AM_SE/HelpDesk_CPU/

I barely managed to find the asus webpage for this mobo, i had to type India in google search.

Also one more question, would these RAM work on this mobo? http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-2GB-DDR2-800MHz-PC2-6400-240PIN-Desktop-Dimm-Memory-RAM-For-AMD-Motherboard-/400905641175?hash=item5d57d69cd7:g:Vy4AAOSw7s5Xg4do

It says it's for amd, i mean it should work right? I never understood why were there only difference between amd and intel in ddr2 ram, probably because of some high density and stuff, but i'm not very knowledgable about that.
