How will different latency impact gaming performance when running @ 2400MHz?

Hey all. This is my first post on these forums.

I'm fairly new to PC building, and I'm in the process of choosing components for my new gaming PC. I got most of the parts figured out, but I'm a bit stuck when it comes to the selection of RAM.
My motherboard only supports 2400MHz, so that's the speed I'll be sticking with. Im planning on getting an i7 6700K and a GTX 1080.

Currently the choice is between these two:

HyperX Fury 16GB 2400MHz CL15 (15-15-15)
and
HyperX Savage 16GB 2400MHz CL12 (12-14-14).

Does anybody know if the difference in latency will be any noticable?
Will it impact my fps in gaming whatsoever?

Thanks!

What mobo - if it supports 2400 it should support 2133 and even higher? As far as what you are showing the Savage at 2400/12 will be better and have much more OC headroom so you could run them at 2666 or probn even 2800 for an additional increase. With either set at 2400 the Savage would be slightly better but doubt if you would notice a real difference in FPS (maybe 1-2) but on maybe a couple of games

Thanks for the quick answer! :)

Im planning on buying the MSI Pro Carbon. Allthough, I must admit after reading your posts about MSI mobos, I'm a bit unsure if i should go ASUS instead... Do you have any thoughts on the matter?

Oh, ok. Maybe I should stick with Asus or Gigabyte then, as Asrock is rarely sold in my country.
Do you have any recommendations for a good Z170 mobo from Asus and GB?
