Reinstalling Win7 x64 on a brand new 4TB HDD went very very wrong.

To make it as short and sweet ans possible...

Recently bought a 4tb HDD, installed it today. Took me about 3 hours to finally get windows to boot on it. Running slow as hell. Finally got it running at a decent speed.

Installed steam, and games. Tried running games and ran in to an error.

Solution to error appeared to be windows update for a missing .dll

Attempt to install updates, endless searching.

Attempt to fix updates, run in to even more issues.

this (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/971058) is the website I finally found myself on and this(http://i.imgur.com/Ts84JBV.png) is the page of errors I find myself staring at. I don't know what to do with this... this(https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/249873) page didn't do anything to help either. I don't want to reinstall windows again because I'm afraid I'll just run in to the exact same issue.

Solution
To install windows to a drive larger then 2TB you need a UEFI motherbd (in UEFI mode), Installing Windows in UEFI mode, and using Gpt formatting (windows will take care of that part automatically, its not like you have another choice)

I'm using GPT and it shows as having the full drive. 3.63TB. And I ran the scannow, it didn't find any errors.

I'm aware of this, and that is how I installed windows.
