Agreed, those components can run 1080p stuff fine at medium/low settings 60fps, but will be near unplayable in AAA titles such as The Witcher.
If you were to upgrade OP, what would your budget be? I can put together a CPU mobo ram GPU upgrade in for just under 550 which will get you an RX 480, an i5, 16GB of RAM and a decent motherboard.
Your current components will soon become obsolete in terms of gaming, although they'll be fine for general use.
So its probably best to save up for an upgrade and potentially flog that off on ebay or craigslist as a workstation.
