Wired Connections slower than Wireless

We are currently paying our ISP for 50mbps down and 5mbps upload. When i run a speedtest on my phone I am getting close to 60mbps down and 5mbps up. However, on any wired ethernet device in the home, I am only getting less than 1mbps download and around 3mbps upload. Our router has an ethernet cable that goes down to the basement, then into an 8-port switch. Ethernet lines run to each bedroom then in the house where they are connected to a computer. Every computer is getting the same slow speeds. Why is this? The router is an Asus RT-AC68U. Any help would be appreciated.

1-2 years is nothing for that switch. It should still run fine.

How is the cable run from the router to the switch? A single premade cable, or inside the wall and then wall connections?
This is sounding more like a bad cable or connection.

What happens with a PC wired directly to the router?

I haven't tried this yet. Would i be able to connect am Ethernet coupler to the cable coming own to the switch and then to the cable going up to my PC? Or would the cable length affect speed?

A coupler isn't recommended. Just adds another point of possible fail.
A single ethernet cable, direct to the router.

In a typical single family residence, cable length is almost certainly not an issue.

router->switch->PC = bad.
router->PC = good.

I would suspect the switch.

Would there be an easy way to test this? Like, before we shell out money for a new switch? Also, could it not be that the switch is bad, but is limited in speed?

Try different ports on the switch
What make/model is it?
