Will motherboard power speakers

Ok so I am in desperate need of new speakers but have no money to spend on new speakers or an amplifier to use my old speakers and my new ones just broke. The speakers that I originally used had an amp that used 100 watts of power and was wondering if my Asus Z-170 E would be able to power them.

The motherboard cannot power unamplified speakers. If that 100w amp still works and is plugged in, then the speakers can run off of that and you would connect the motherboard to the amplifier.
