because intel is out of control , they issue a new socket and cpu model faster than apple renews their iphone , moreover i really can't afford stuff like an LGA 2011-3 intel cpu and the hype seems to be coming to a conclusion , with an am4 or am4+ cpu you proabably feel more satisfied than with intel's 10 nm technology what do you think ?

If you think Intel's release pattern is too fast, here's a solution: wait to upgrade. Seriously, the rate of CPU performance increases has slowed down dramatically, if you get a good CPU you'll probably be set for 3-5 years, and can safely ignore everything in between.

And it's a lot easier for AMD to keep the same socket for 5+ years when they haven't released a new CPU architecture on that socket for 4 years.

That being said, the only way to really compare is to wait for Zen to come out.

What do I think?
I think you should probably wait until there is an actual product.

Who knows what the actual performance will be.

well the am3+ socket was refined in 2011-2 , since then the call of duty franchise has released multiple adittional games , they say the new amd probably won't get as hot either , so i think it'll be a good choice for people like me with limited budget

i think you are right i shouldn't have upgraded to skylake my 4790 was enough , but there are usually things in between that you can't really ignore , like the ddr4 ram , or a pci express 3.0 slot , with the money i spent on my skylake setting and my 390x , i could have probably got one of those 1080 or 1070 cards , but hell i should have waited a lot of time for that , sometimes you need to spend your money to get your hands on new stuff , and AMD seems more promising in that arena , they gonna give you 8 cores or maybe 10 probably with a seed of above 5 ghz who knows , thanks for the advice

hey guys and girls first of all the new amd procssor line is called RYZEN , and Yes i will go on to buy a whole new gaming rig when it launches in febuari 2017, a few things to keep in mind are that ryzen will cost a fraction of te price of a 6900K , ryzen overclocks itself when it senses you have a better than stock cooling solution, so no more tinkering with settings whatsoever i love that feature... and for more info check this out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=30YH5BI27L8 have a nice 2017 all you gamers out there
