Hi, Im having issues with my with my new build not posting to my screen. Everything seems to turn on fine, however there's no USB power nor any video output. The exact build is the following;
Mobo: H110M - DGS
PSU: Corsair CS550M
GPU: Nvidia GTX 970
HDD: Some generic ass WD 1tb thing
CPU: INTEL I5 6600
RAM: 8gb corsair DDR4
CASE: Corsair 400r

I know this isn't much to go on but I was just wondering if anyone would have a rough idea of what the issue could be. Maybe the motherboard isn't getting any power or something? Cheers in advance for helping me with noobiness. :)

Solution
Your DIMMs are listed as tested on the QVL so you have the correct ones installed.
You can do a full test using Memtest86+ by booting from a USB stick to run the test. You would have to change priority in Bios to do this.

Your CPU has iGPU, so see if you have video output from the IO panel which has DVI-D port to your monitor.
You will have to check for correct settings in Bios for iGPU.

At the same time check your USB configuration in Advanced section of Bios.
Check in both: Advanced/USB Support and Advanced/ACPI Configuration, that settings are correct for your requirements.
Section 4.6.4 and 4.6.5 in your manual.

Check cabling to USB ports on MB. Also check rear USB ports on rear IO panel. You have 2x USB2 and 2x USB3.

Please...

Sorry, The DIMMS are actually two 4GB sticks of kingston kvr21n15s8/4 DDR4. I was initially going to buy corsair branded ram however the store was out of stock. I tried what you said, also attempted to boot without the gpu and simply reconnect all the power cables unfortunately to no result. I've noticed the fan on the CPU has a loud roar when the PC is initially turned on, calming down to a normal speed moment's later, is this normal?
Thank you so much for your help! :)

EDIT: Can I assume USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller (xHCI) drivers are installed from your MB installation disk.

I kind of don't want to say this because it's embarrassing but I feel as if I owe you my honesty, haha. I once again tried taking the PC all apart and putting it all back together. I actually didn't have the RAM inserted all the way and that was the issue. I'm so sorry for wasting your time, I really should have got that right from the start. Regardless, thank you so much for your help! I really appreciate it! :)

No problem exogeni :) and glad you have it sorted. HeHe, we all learn by our mistakes.
