Hello guys, I'm about to buy 144hz monitor but im not sure if my hdmi version can handle it. The laptop is fairly old, like 2011 or something but still runs league of legends at 100-150 fps uncapped @1080 i was about to get bigger monitor anyways, so i though why not to go for 144hz 
. but even if it has hdmi 1.4 would it be able to get at least 120hz over hdmi? What do you guys think? Acer aspire 5742g. the gpu is geforce gt 420m 1gb. can i go with144hz or should i just get 60hz?
