Hi all,
I currently run a 3x 1080p screen set-up, gaming on the central monitor only, on a GTX 970 and Xeon e3 (i.e. no integrated graphics chip). Perhaps unsurprisingly I experience noticeable stuttering and low FPS even when playing undemanding games (i.e. LOTRO or SWTOR at high settings).
Would I be able to resolve this with either a software fix that I've missed thus far (i.e. to get the graphics card to 'focus' on the central monitor while gaming), or would I be better off upgrading? I'm running an H97 motherboard so SLI is out of the question; would a 1070 or 1080 be a good investment?
Thank you in advance for your advice!
