Here is the link page of the mobo because it.s hard to find, google woudn't show it: https://www.asus.com/in/Motherboards/M2N68AM_SE/

This board supports max 4gb, and has 2 dimm channels.
What am i asking is, can it support one 4gb ram stick on one dimm ?

Solution
NO.
The TOTAL memory is always:
Max RAM per slot
X
Number of slots

If it says a max of 4GB total, and has two slots, then it's 2GB max per slot.

I assume it can support it, but you could check the Memory Support page of your motherboard (https://www.asus.com/in/Motherboards/M2N68AM_SE/HelpDesk_QVL/).

If you download the file with the description "M2N68-AM SE Memory QVL", you can see that there are a few 4gb ram sticks which have been tested and are surely supported. Most of them have a specific frequency (800mhz) and few are 667mhz.

Even if you don't fine your ram listed there, I guess there will be no compatibility problem

Then how do you explain all these tested 4gb modules that I posted earlier and appear on the motherboard Memory Support page?

F2-5300CL5D-4GBMQ

That for example, is a 2x2GB kit. I see no 4GB modules in the QVL list.

M378T5263AZ3-CE6 (not sure)

Anyway, from what I read in other forums, for example https://forums.aida64.com/topic/1010-maximum-ram-memory-supported/?p=6016, it is stated that:

"Generally speaking, if a chipset or CPU IMC is capable of supporting e.g. a total of 8GB system RAM in 4 DIMM slots, it means one DIMM can be up to 2GB in size (8GB divided by 4 DIMM slots). There are exceptions from that rule though, so it's best to check both the chipset's datasheet and the motherboard manual".

Maybe these are the exceptions after all, since other motherboards seem to follow the rule posted above.
