Which processor ??

Hello I want to build a PC for music production (ableton & fl studio). I am thinking between these processors.
i7 5820k and xeon e5 1650 v3.
I heard xeon are more favourable for production (xeon also used in mac pro). Which should I opt for.

The first reason Apple uses Xeon is because of its energy efficiency xeon is 32% energy efficient than i7 series. The second advantage of this cpu over i7 is its dual processing which becomes beneficial during production but not gaming. Hence you a get a bit more juice while editing the content and other stuff but than on the other side its I7 which is a consumer grade processor and has the capability of overclocking which can give you almost a neat performance duringf the production both of them have their own pros and cons which you can read more in detail here: http://www.cpu-world.com/Compare/219/Intel_Core_i7_i7-5820K_vs_Intel_Xeon_X5650.html

Also besides the aforesaid Xeon processors are mainly used in managing server level tasks...

Bro the site u mentioned is very partial in single scores only. (I know single scores mean more but multi core is also important).
Getting back to ques., I want to know does xeon have any pros for more price (if not then why apple uses it). And what about i7 6700k 4 core for my needs??
