So my CPU fan started making some weird vibrating noises a while ago but they could barely be heard so I didn't care all that much about them and then last night it started making some pretty loud noises (as if it was hitting something) so this morning I opened my PC case to see what's going on in there and I couldn't see anything too weird, it just made noise by itself, it even makes noise when I spin it with my finger a little bit faster, so that's kinda weird as I can't see anything getting in it's way that could be making that noise, and then when I put it back in my case and started up the PC this happend (I recorded it), well pretty much it starts spinning at normal speed and then it slows down (you can see in video that it's spinning too slow and then it suddenly stops and then beeps (it's a CPU fan fail warning beep, which I turned off while I was testing it because it's so loud so that's why u can't hear it in the video), then I decided to take it out again I moved fan back and forth (it has some space that it can go back & forth, I'm not sure if that's how it's supposed to be or if that's how it was before but it feels kinda loose and my guess is that that's what's making the noise, because the fan is loose it vibrates or something, I'm not sure, but there is nothing to tight it up) and then it started working properly (sort of) again, it still made some noise (as it was making it a while ago) but it doesn't stop spinning anymore like it did in the video, also what I've noticed while I was typing this is that after some time of PC running, the fan stopped making weird noises, but it always starts making them when I first boot up the PC which is also kind of weird, isn't it?

So what do you guys think, is it a faulty fan, should I get it replaced or is it something else that can get fixed?

It seems that you cpu fan has a problem with its ball bearings, in my opinion you should change the fan you can install the fan unit to another secondary fan and try the fan and im sure the problem would go away..
