How is a Xeon x3440 for gaming?

So atm im running a i5-760 but I can get a x3440 pretty cheap like 30$ but Im wondering if I'll lost performance because there isnt that much difference and xeon aren't designed for that? (Ill use it for gaming only)

HT doesn't buy you much with many games/apps. In fact, in some cases, it can slow things down. Also, you can't OC Xeons, especially the older ones.

If I were you, I would stick with the CPU you have and save the money for the Xeon as beginning of a future (modern) build budget.

Yeah I saw that but the Xeon have hyper-threading aswell so I like that to let open different games but what Im more worried if for being a Xeon I'll have really lost of fps

Oh well I was going for that as a way of cheap improve a bit because in the future ill buy a new i7/zen cpu so it was a cheap way keeping my mobo, I didn't knew I couldnt OC the Xeon I was going to do that because I already have my i5 to stable 3.6Ghz
