Hi Guys, Currently I have 2 gtx 970 sli cards in my rig and it runs most games maxed above 60fps however some games I can't fully max out. My birthday is coming up and I have enough money to pay for my part for an expensive gift or 3. I've always been annoyed when my family and i went on trips and I could never play my games that I play at home because I do not have a gaming laptop (and if i did i would want it to be portable and not look like a spaceship). So I'm contemplating whether or not I should get the new razer blade so I can game on the go. However I've looked up benchmarks and I noticed that the razerblade plays games like witcher 3 on medium around at 60 fps. So I just eanted your guys' opinions on whether or not you would get the razerblade or if you would get 2 gtx 1080s and upgrade my display being able to max out every game but not being able to play on the go or if I should keep my dual 970s and play games mostly maxed out at 1080p and get a portable gaming laptop that can run games around medium?

Thanks so much in advance!

1x GTX 1080 and a 1440p monitor should be plenty to run greatly, running 2x GTX 1080 would be way overkill, look for the tests of the card, they can run 4K quite decently and you don't have to bother with SLI that way

How often do you travel? In terms of dollars spent to time played I imagine the laptop would not be worth it. Id go with the 1080s as you'd likely get way more use out of them. Up to you though!

Well, if I were getting 3 birthday presents, I would want 2 GTX1080's and a 4K display. Then I would sell my 970's and my 1440P display and use the money to get myself a nice gaming laptop with a GTX 970M and a 1080P display. But that's just me.
