Hello guys,

I'm interested in buying active/powered speakers and my current favourites are the Mackie Cr4BT. The price is really attractive (my budget is £150 and lower) and according to reviews they sound great and as a bonus to me they have Bluetooth something i do like and they come as a pair. But I have one main concern that is:

According to some reviews (Amazon mainly) the quality control of these speakers are not the best and you can get a really well built speaker but at the same time you could get a really badly built one...

My question is do any of you guys have any experience with Mackie as a brand or in particular these speakers if so what do you think of them and there quality control?

Thanks,

Coner

P.s. if you have any other suggestions I would be more than happy to hear them (I'm fairly new to the speaker world).

70Hz – 20kHz Not as wide of a spectrum for Studio speakers, a good set would be 30hz - 35khz which will run around $150 and up for each speaker. They are okay for everything else but lack lower bass, They lack a very high end as well but at high volumes you wont notice.

What do you plan on doing with them, what are your planned uses?

1. Home Studio
2. Home Theater
3. Gaming
4. Casual Music
5. Parties and Gatherings

I mainly will be using them for causal music listening and playing games out loud casually and maybe a little bit of video editing. I have a pair of beyerdynamics Dr 880 premium for anything that needs high quality listening. So causal use In short

Sorry to be a pain, do you have any other solutions as i currently cannot purchase them inside of my country... Also i don't think i will a subwoofer as i'm a bit limited by space and they are only for casual listening nothing critical at all.

Thanks,

Coner
