Question Suggest a good UPS ?

Suggest a good UPS upto 3k.. In my area there is lot of voltage fluctuations and many times the voltage reading in my home meter is below 140 V . When voltage fluctuates , my System turned off and starts again (that is UPS supply stops for some seconds when power fluctuates ) . So I want a ups with minimum input range of 140 V.

My priorities are
1) Minimum Input range must 140 V
2) Stable power supply when voltage fluctuates
3) Backup for atleast 20 mins.

Reply soon waiting here..

It sounds like the battery in your UPS has gone bad. They generally need replacement around every three years, as they are Ni-Cad.

I recommend APC UPSs. You can go HERE, select Home and Office user and then use your devices or load to determine what model you need.

I find that the 1500VA models are usually adequate for single PC use.

Ok. What is the difference between a Pure sine wave UPS and non-sine wave ups ? Do sine wave ups solves my problem ?

The quality of the power output defined on an oscilloscope is the difference, but there are very few actual pure sine wave UPS models available and they are quite a bit more expensive.

You do not need one for consumer grade electronics as they can deal with the lesser quality output just fine.
