Does ram above 2133 work with 5820k?

Hi everyone, thanks in advance:

Does ram above 2133 work with 5820k? I see in some places that 5820k only works with 2133, and some places that say it does. I don't want trouble... not gonna overclock or do anything crazy.

I never tested an 5* generation from intel, but if it follows the previous generations, yes, it should work @ 2133Mhz, max delivered by the CPU.

If I don't overclock it will it still work? I prefer not to overclock.

Will something like 2400 just run at 2133 then if I don't overclock, or will simply not work?
