I am giving away and throwing out some old technology that I have. I have two older routers and I was wondering if there is anything I should do first before getting rid of them - do I need to worry about passwords etc with older routers? Is there a way to reset them to new?

getting rid of old Routers (wireless) - anything I should do first (security)?

On the back, there is a little button. Often somewhat hidden.
Power on, hold that button for 30 secs (you may need a toothpick or similar).
Power off.
Done.
Not really necessary, but just for your peace of mind.
