I just built my first Mini-ITX computer which runs great, unfortunately the CPU fan I installed from my old PC is just a tad too tall for the case. Luckily the plastic window on the top was easy to remove but now I'm wondering what is the best way to deal with this gaping hole? What are the disadvantages of having it? And what would be the best way to cover the hole which would be aesthetically pleasing and not require too much work? Thank you for your time.

Well for starters id suggest that you buy a shorter fan because all that air escaping your Chassis will affect your temperature ALOT it also makes you're case vulnerable from accidents you may be getting down the road
