I added a front panel USB 3.0/Memory card reader to my PC and plugged it into my existing mobo's ( https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/Z97S-SLI-PLUS.html#hero-overview ) only USB 3.0 Header that was originally occupied by the cases top mounted USB 3.0 ports. I'd like to retain the use of the top mounted ports but I'm not sure how to go about this. I've seen the 20 pin splitter cable option ( http://www.moddiy.com/products/20%252dPin-USB-3.0-Internal-Header-Y-Splitter-Cable-(12cm).html ) but I'm not sure this is a good idea. Any suggestions on how to keep all my ports functional? Will a PCI Express Card like this ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16815256001 ) be the way to go?
