OK, thanks, I am new to pc building anyway.

There is no compatibility issue, all PCIe standards are backwards compatible. meaning you cold run a PCIe 3.0 card on a PCIe 1.0 slot. The card will just run at the speed of the slot. I'm running a card that is PCIe 2.1 in a PCIe 1.1 slot in my old computer and it runs perfect, it just doesn't have the full speed it would if it had a matched slot. My current computer (in my sig) has a 3.0 card in a 2.0 slot, no issues, full speed for all intents and purposes.

To clairify EVEN PCI-E x16 1.0 would even be more than enough bandwith for a "GTX TITAN P" there backward and forward compatible, and really 2.0 and 3.0 cant even be fully utilized as with PCI-E x16 1.0, the versions are mainly enhancements to ensure bandwitdth will never be too little provided that the slot conforms to PCI-E SIG standards.

Hi all , Even i am having the same doubt ,

Currently i am equipped with a " GA-880GA-UD3H " motther board. Here is the spec sheet " http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3425#sp "

I am planning to buy a Amd RX470 which uses a Pci-e 3.0 standard.

Can you please tell me if there is a compatibility issue and if not it will run slower , by how much slower.
will it be better for me to get a new mobo as well , or it should be fine.
I am planing to play game at 1080p and not 4k or VR.

Thanks
