The first time I notice this is when I started playing some online games. At first it was normal and my ping time to Default Gateway was always <1ms. And then I noticed some lag and my ping goes high about 150ms in game (normally it's just about 30ms) That happened all of a sudden and I didn't change any network settings or wiring at all.

I tried to change the cable but it's still the same. All the lights on my modem and router are green as always,

By the way my computer is connected to the router (ethernet) then the modem. I tried to connect straght to the modem leaving the router out but nothing changed.

Please help with any ideas you have.

No it does not. I unplugged it for an hour then reboot but it's still the same.

Yesterday I went into safe mode with networking and the ping was normal. But when I restarted again in normal mode to scan for some malware the ping is still good as in safe mode!
