my r9 290 still spins the fan but no video signal.. crashed after furmark test, thoughts?

No signal whatsoever is a bad sign to be sure. Make sure all power connectors properly secured, and try reseating the GPU (i.e. pull it out and reinsert it).

Or your psu just gave up, depends, please provide full spec list including psu brand and model.

Try flipping the BIOS selector switch on the card.
If you're getting a video signal before it boots into windows, but then nothing/crashing once it finishes loading windows, I suggest removing the card and then uninstall all the drivers with DDU.

I gave my Fury X a bad overclock and the above happened to me.

Yes it can hapen, the fans can spin and the pc not to start. Try to borrow a psu from a friend and see if it works. Also you can take off the video card and run on the integrated card see if it boots.

Well i dont wanna be rude but i was the one suggested that the psu is faulty and someone with change bios mode suggestion gets the solve answer? weird...
