Components rarely fail as long as they're not put under harsh conditions.
In a typical home use hardware shouldn't fail, fans may eventually start wearing depending on their type.

I've got computer systems that are over 20 years old and still work perfectly, usually if a component is going to fail, it will fail within the RMA allowance period...

I've updated the forum an how about 750 ti 2gb oc?

Decent card but is 2 gens behind the current. It struggles in most demanding modern games now but should be fine for the games you want to play

Thou demand games wise mostly people have had to turn settings down from high-ish to medium, depends on the game thou. With that CPU you could easily run one of the new GTX 1000 cards, the GTX 1060 is coming out soon which would be a good one for you if you can not afford the best of the best.

You have a Skylake CPU, invest in a good GPU that will take full advance of your powerful CPU

Pick your budget for GPU:
$150 - RX470 or 3gb 1060 (based on reviews)
$200 RX480
$250 1060
$400+ 1070...1080....

If you've no interest in VR and are running a 1080p monitor then anything past the 1060 will probably end up being overkill.

I've built a lot of systems and every component that I've had fail (cpu, gpu, ram, power supply) has failed within 0-3 days of installing it, making it an easy return.
