You can use tom's graphics card hierarchy list as a guide to relative performance.

I would generally prefer the more modern Maxwell and pascal cards, the R9 cards generally take 75w more than their more modern counterparts.


If your R7-360 is not doing the job, look for an upgrade that is at least three tiers higher or you may be disappointed if you do not see big results.

Its doing the job I absolutely love it but I need a better card for GTA V and Farcry primal all the pascal and the new cards are expensive! overpriced way more expensive than US here in Australia :(

If you had a r7 360 and was playing Farcry Primal on 30-40 fps would you think the r9 380 is a huge upgrade?
