Quadro's aren't built for gaming at all. Both cards share the GM107 GPU, however the GTX750 has 4 SM units, the K620 only has 3.

The GTX750 will do much better in gaming due to the Geforce drivers and having 33% more silicon.

Is 1GB GDDR5 > 2GB DDR3?

Yes and no. GDDR5 is quite a bit faster than DDR3, but 2GB allows more to be loaded in the card at once, meaning less calls to the memory or disk to get textures and such. However, low-end cards like this don't really need more than 1GB, if you attempt to use setting that will use more than that much VRAM the GPU won't be able to keep up.
