I am currently building another pc. This time i am using an i3 6100 CPU. I would like to buy an after market cooler and i am between these 4:

1)Arctic Freezer i32 CO
2)Be Quiet Pure Rock
3)CoolerMaster Hyper 212X
4)Thermalright TRUE Spirit 120M (BW) Rev.A

The price range is almost the same for all 4 of them(33-34 euros). I want to buy the best out of these four. I mean what it the point to buy the prettiest one when with the same money i can buy a better one? :p I know all of them are good coolers but which is the best according to you?

Solution

Right, obviously the Be Quiet is a few degrees lower, and it is certainly a very good cooler. However, what sets the 212x apart is its track record, with incredible reliability and solid performance. Any of the coolers mentioned would do the job, I would just prefer it to be one that I know will not fail on me, which is why I recommended it.

The 1-2 degrees difference can be negated if you do not apply the Thermal Paste correctly (too little or even too much) but hopefully they are as real-world tests as possible (yes, I did read the article).

On my current build I have the Hyper 212 Evo and it is both extremely quiet and super efficient.

Whatever you feel comfortable with :) enjoy the significant performance increase at low temps with the Pure Rock!

You say that the difference can be negated. So you mean to tell me they applied wrong thermal paste for the 212x and correct for the pure? What about if they applied at both wrong thermal paste? :p

Also no need to be sarcastic saying enjoy the significant performance increase(cooler does not boost performance)... No need to be rude. I just want to get the best i can get out of my money i dont get it why you get mad since i proved that the cooler you told me is "worse" than the one i found. We are both here to ask and aswer in order to help and learn not to be sarcastic and impolite to each other.

Anyway thank you. Have a nice day :)

That is the problem with typing letters on a screen - it's difficult ot tell if I'm being genuine or saracastic, I was being genuine when wishing you well with your choice!!
I am not endorsed by CoolerMaster to promote their products. (although I wish I was...lol:))
Also the difference could be negated depending on how YOU apply the thermal paset, not them, meaning you could aim for their benchmark temps, but in applying the thermal past slightly off, you'll end up with the same performance as the coolermaster.

I apologise if my response was misconstrued, but I genuinely wished you well, and still hope you do!

All the best and hope you get your delivery ASAP ;)

Couldn't have said it better myself.
The first time I installed the 212 Evo I was amazed by the cooling, and was able to increase the overclock (hence, thanasiskant, the increased 'performance', indirectly albeit).
Thumbs up Jester Maroc ;)
