Hello. I was looking how to fix my microphone buzzing and I came across usb sound cards. People say that they remove all the unnecessary noise, but in my country there's not many usb sound cards you can choose from. There's 2 options : Manhattan Sound card Hi-Speed USB virtual 3D 7.1 with volume control (9 euros) and Sweex External Sound Card USB 2.0 (small 2 port one) (9 euros aswell). I'm using zalman zm-mic1, it's cheap and not super good and kind of quiet. Do you think this usb sound card will help?

Thank you.

Solution
Microphone and sound device (speakers, headphones etc.) buzzing is caused by EMI (electromagnetic interference). Basically, the very weak magnetic field generate by the electricity running through your components skews the signal going through the cable that goes to the front panel 3.5mm jacks. You can also solve this issue by getting (somewhat decent) 3.5mm jack extension cables and plugging your devices directly to the back of the motherboard. Any kind of external sound card will also solve this.

It doesn't matter which usb sound card it is? All do the same job right? And which one of these two would you choose?

It says that sweex's audio system maximum sampling rate is 48 kHz. Is that enough? There's also Hama 7.1 Surround USB Sound Card but it's from 2009. Does that make any difference? And some reviews said that manhattan sound card is very weak and don't last long.

I mean it doesn't cost hundreds, but it's still money and I want the best option.
