I have a lot of experience in graphics cards and system building, but was looking for community advice.

I have 2 60hz monitors @ 1080p, and will in a couple of years be getting another 2, for a total of 4 60hz 1080p monitors.

I am looking for a card which I can buy now which will be able to power my current and my future setup at 1080p, and cards in which I buy one now and another for a 2 card sli setup in a couple of years are fine.

Bottom line, I need a card (or group of cards) that can power 4 1080p 60hz monitors at 60fps.
I would like suggestions from both red and green teams, however there definitely is a preference with cards THAT RUN COOL.

I currently have a R9 290 which runs at 95C under load, and am looking for a new card primarily because of future performance issues and temperature issues.

The lower the price, the better. I don't want some titan p shit as I know I won't need anything that powerful.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
- Bigkittyjr

I can personally say that the rx 480 can handle 2 1080p monitors, for a really cheap price, and i can only imagine that a sli can handle 4 monitors. I think rx 480 is really good and futureproof at a low price point too.

I would not reccomend looking at websites like those for performance. Try to find maybe youtube videos with people that have tried it with a build similar to yours. Do you have a budget or a max price you want to spend?

Preferably under $450 now, but like I said if I need a second card in the future that wouldn't be a problem. I just want to make sure I'm not going overkill for 1080p 60hz gaming.
