I just recently installed an ASUS Sabertooth 990fx and an AMD 9590fx into my computer. I want to start by saying I understand that the 9590 is is basically an extra hot overclocked 8350.

I can get to the setup screen for the motherboard and then the computer shuts down on its own. I believe that the cpu is overheating but can't imagine it getting that hot that quick.

Specs:
Mobo - ASUS Sabertooth 990fx r2.0
Cpu - AMD 9590
Psu - EVGA 850 Gold
Ram - 4x Corsair Vengence
Cpu cooler - Corsair H80i V2

I am also getting a CPU fan error on startup.

Is there a way to increase voltage without being able to reach bios?

At 120mm that h8i0 is kinda small for a 9590. 240 and 280mm aios is whats recommended. With a cpu fan error I'd double check your your AIO as the pump may not be running which would cause that cpu to overheat very quickly. Can you get far enough into bios to check the cpu temp?

Make sure the pump 3-pin lead is connected to the CPU fan header and the fan is connected to the CPU_OPT header. It almost sounds like the pump isn't running or is failing. You can try to switch the pump power 3-pin with another (case) fan 3-pin and see if the CPU fan header is supplying enough power to spin a fan.

No, unfortunately it shuts down as I get the bios to load.
