I recently reformatted my ThinkPad and now can't use my Epson Perfection 1650l with Win7. I get error: Componet ICM_2;
File Group _EW_Profiles;
File <szICCPath>\:
The file name, directory name or volume syntax is incorrect.,

Scanner is not plugged in during install of drivers. Using the original install CD that came with the scanner. Have uninstalled and installed but still get the same message. The software seems to install but when I try to scan I get message 'Please install the supported TWAIN driver". I think I remember something about deleting a Twain driver in Windows before reinstalling the scanner software.

Yes, a typo. I've followed the directions for installing the software using the original CD that came with the scanner. Then I downloaded the driver Twain 5 Driver V5.71A but get keep getting the pop up to install the correct Twain driver. Done this a few times to make sure I was doing it correctly. I must be missing something....
