So appearntly my mobo has this "gaming device port", it's supposed to be gold plated or something for high polling rate devices. I just got my logitech G900 yesterday and I was wondering if I should get any benefit if I connect the mouse reciever to that port, and if not (probably not since its just a reciever), should I get any benefit from it with normal wired mouse? Or is it just a gimmick? Thanks in advance and sorry for the silly question.

Its just advertising, there won't be any benefit from it being "gold plated" digital signals either make it through or not. Now if it supports a high polling rate that can be nice but also not a real benefit
