Yesterday I was cleaning out my pc and did some cable management and my mic was working fine that night and this morning i turn on my pc everything is working then all of a sudden my mic is making fucking transformer noises and I put in another mic and it did the exact same what should I do ?

Solution
Since you are using pins I will assume you have front audio connector. THose are notorious, especially on many less expensive cases, to cause sound issues. If possible use the rear connector, even if you have to get an extension cable for your mic(dont get super cheap or youll have the same issue).

I think the mic will not work if the pins are not plugged in correctly, but you should double check the +s and the -s are in the right spot.

My mic is a 3.5mm Astro a40 tr with no mix amp last night i was just putting cables together and what i think it might be are the pinns that go into my mother board idk im not and expert at computers. The only thing that is werid is that everything was working fine last night

Yeah thats because what's causing the noises is EMF from unshielded electrical paths inside the case. Or, possibly, you have a cell phone too close to system. I had a blackberry once and it would make my speakers make all kinds of weird bleep bloop noises when i put it on top of the case.

YOur regular audio output (by which you are hearing the mic noises) is working fine when there is no mic?
