I have a DigitalStorm built pc that I've had for about 2.5 years now and this problem has happened before sometimes but now it is happening too often.

Specs:
Intel i5 4670k OC
Corsair Hydro cooling
GTX 770 4gb
ASUS z87-c
2x ADATA XPG 4gb DDR3 RAM
Corsair CX600
NZXT Phantom

My pc will sometimes shut down, mostly when I'm playing certain games, then turn back on but wont boot up. Every fan turns on except the cpu fan and I get no video signal, at which point I force shut down the pc and turn it back on again until it boots up normally.

I do not believe its overheating because it has refused to boot up after being off a whole day. The shut down has happened after playing even 20min of the game and I have played other graphics intensive games that cause me no problems at all. Usually the games that cause my system to shut down aren't that graphics intensive.

It has happened even with the graphics card off (failing to boot up that is, i didnt play games without graphics card to see if it shut down). I moved the RAM around, even took out one of my sticks and tried them one at a time. I checked if the cpu was dirty, its not, I keep my system clean. I don't think its the PSU because the pc often still works fine when i play graphics intensive games with the graphics card on and the problem about it not booting up persisted after i took half the ram and the gpu out so it would take less power, though I'm not fully aware if this has anything to do with the psu's condition.

Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Run RAM diagnostics and check for faulty ram, also run prime95 for atleast 8hrs and check for system stability. If all the hardware is fine then it might be loose connections or corrupted windows installation or drivers.
