I presently have an 17-950, R9-280x, 12gigs off ram Pt6 Se MB. I play BF4 and want to get a better rig. I want great game play. Can someone recommend a good system to get a great gaming experience in bf4.

With your present system the best upgrade to get a great gaming experience is to upgrade your Graphics card, a GTX 1070 offers great performance as long as you have a decent PSU the rest of your specs will be fine. If you are playing at 1080p even a GTX 1060 or RX480 will be plenty to notice a big jump in gaming performance from the 280X. Just depends on your budget and what your preference is.
