So i recently ordered a new 100ft ethernet cable along with a new motherboard (MSI 970). I installed the drivers that came on the cd but i cant connect to the internet. Using my sisters ethernet cable, which was the one i used for most of my PCs lifetime, works just fine but with an unidentified network labled in the network and sharing center window.
I apologize in advance for not understanding any common terms or procedures im quite new to forums and pc building in general.
