1| Make sure your BIOS is up to date.
2| Make sure that the peripheral in question is mean't to be plug and play or at least should be used after you've installed a specific driver.
3| The device simply doesn't support Wake features.
4| Can you pass on your full system's specs inclusive of your OS and peripherals?
