So I'm going on a holiday to my summer house, but I'm taking my new computer there with me. Now these parts should come tomorrow so I dok't have them yet.

So basically I have my old (4-5 years?) Pc with one HDD that has all my stuff in it, including Windows 10 Pro and my internet is seriously slow, so im planning to copy some files from my old pc to my new pc. I'm planning to take that HDD with me to the summer house and install it on my new computer.
But I'm also going to be installing a new Windows 10 to the new computers SSD as I will be returning my the old HDD to my old computer as I am planning on selling it.

TL;DR Basically I have an old HDD with windows 10 on it and im planning on putting it on my new computer that has a Windows 10 in it. Will it work?

the hdd won't boot more than likely but once you have the new ssd up and running, you can put it in to copy the data off of it.

it'll read the drive fine and will see that windows install as data only. you can grab whatever you want off of it. but keep in mind it won't boot up and allow you normal access like that. so put everything in an easy to get to place on the hdd so you can copy it easily.
