1070 G1 (Gigabyte) Temps

I ordered this for Thursday. They didn't had MSI which is 30e higher price. I just can't wait since I found buyer for my gtx980Ti at 450e price range, so basically I'm adding 60 euros.

My concern is, does G1 still provide same cooling system as MSI ? I see ~1fps difference between MSI and G1 so I'm not concerned about performance, and OC potential is pure luck so that on side.

I hope for ~ same temperatures ?

It cools very very well , I own it , no worries.

The Windforce fans do a fantastic job.

Okay, did you heard that any owner of 1070 cards complain on coilwhine ? Another concern since I didn't had luck neither with G1 980Ti or G1 960 in past.

Sweet. Thanks ! Looking forward playing games on this, although it's not huge upgrade from 980Ti. Hopefully I can avoid driver crash issue which I had with previous 9xx series aswel. I guess I'm settled for 2-3 years on 1080p60hz display

Ok so my card is downclocking every 5c starting by 55c, so with clock on 2050 I ended up on 2000mhz and 67c. Is this normal ? This more radicilous then 980Ti trottling which is only -15mhz on 60c..

I have a MSI gtx 1070 gaming X temps max out at about 71 C full load that's gaming for a few hours

Do you get some mhz down ? I'm not sure what is happening, I can lock ~60c with 60% fans, but I'm still loosing ~20mhz on clock by reaching almost 60c :/

I ran furmark for about 30 mins temps stay about max 71C and clock was at 1860 + or - a few 2 to 3

Ok let's rephrase it.

Does your boost clock start Furmark with 1860mhz ? Or you start with ~1900mhz and then you drop eventually to 1860mhz ? Because I drop, depending on what temperature is. My card is clocked (G1 +100/+600, Power Limit 111, Voltage 0mV). When I reach 55c I lose 12mhz, when I get to 60c I lose 12mhz more. If I unlock 60% at 60c card would go up to 67c and on 65c mark lose 12mhz more.

So I get temperatures, that is okay, mine is a bit more cooler then your on autofans, but what I'm interested in is trottling and core clock.

Ok I did research. That is how GPU Boost 3.0 work. Although really retarded. Lowering clock based on completely safe temperatures point..blah. Whatever.
