Hey guys,
I overclocked my i7 4790k up to 4.8GHz @1.22V while staying cooler than 68c.
Here are some overclocks that I did:
4.3GHz / 1.10V
4.4GHz / 1.12V
4.5GHz / 1.15V
4.6GHz / 1.18V [My current one]
4.7GHz / 1.20V
4.8GHz / 1.22V
My question is, are these results considered good? I have read the basics of overclocking but everyone else with an i7 4790k is using more voltage than me. Should I overvolt my overclocks or should I keep them the same? I also have fully used each overclock for 2/3 days and stress testing it for at least 4 hours which means that they are completely stable.
