Hello.
So I just got a new Zotac GTX 960 Amp Edition to replace my old GTX 750. I saw some pretty good improvement in my games. But as the title suggests, I can't seem to overclock this card to its full potential like it has been told in the reviews. I can successfully get the memory clock to about +150-200MHz. But the core clock refuses to go beyond +50MHz. I have the temperature and the power limit maxed out and tried setting the priority on each of them, but could never run a benchmark successfully. I tried the 3dMark fire strike benchmark and it always crashes in the second graphics test. Was able to run Batman: Arkham Knight for about 15 minutes before it crashed too. The temperature never goes beyond 66c in fire strike and 72c in Batman. So is there something I could do to get a better clock speed? Because, as far as the reviews show, this card to easily go upto 1500MHz. But my card refuses to go beyond 1418MHz. I could try increasing the voltage, but I'm a bit reluctant to do it because I don't want to damage the card. If it helps, my specs are

CPU: Intel i5-4440 @ 3.10GHz
RAM: Kingston HyperX 8GB @ 1600MHz
PSU: Corsair 450 Watt (Don't remember the exact model number)
Windows 10
and I'm using MSI afterburner v4.2.0
with nVidia 368.69 drivers.

use 115% power , 90 temp limit (if you have this setting), voltage at 37

Too much power crashes my card.
My card is at 1563 when boosting.

remember you cant overclock to 1500 MHz core but watch how your card boosts while playing games.

Also try no memory overclock first, just overclock the core then do the memory.

Also only have one overclocking utility installed.
I have a Gigabyte G1 gtx960 4gb and I had to completely uninstall the Gigabyte overclocking program to use Afterburner correctly.

This may help a bit also.

Yes as long as your temps are good.
My card runs max overclock at under 60c.

ARe you using MSI afterburner?
1418 is a little low for the gtx960 but to be honest this card needs a good memory overclock to really shine.

I added information in my previous post.
