your temps should be lower, around 50ºC at full load.

have you check your temps with other software?

No I haven't. I thought that the thermal margin was the difference between the temperature it is at at the moment up to the max temperature that it can run at. Is there any reason why it is running this hot as I thought the cooler was a good enough one for it.

thermal margins will say when your CPU will start to throttle to cooldown and protected it self, you will lose perfomance.
take a look at your real temps with one of these programs i mentioned before.

your cooler is good, i just read the tittle wrong, dont worry.

The computer has been on for several hours already on games and I just looked at temps on hw monitor since the last time I reset the readings and the minimum package temp for the cpu 61 degrees and the maximum is 69 degrees. I don't seem to think it is reading correctly as when I go into my motherboard on restart straight after it says the cpu temperature is 40 degrees. Thanks
