Hello,

I'm looking for opinions on how good (or bad) you think my build would look on a desk. I'm not asking for help with parts, I'm buying this, I just want to know how you think it would look.

I know some of the parts are a bit overkill for what I'm using (Like the Kraken X61) but it's all in the name of aesthetics.

Thanks for the opinion,
Stallion.

EDIT: I forgot to make this a discussion post.. Well someone gets a best answer!

Over all it looks like a $2K build, lol. Bless you!! If I was going to tweak it I'd go with one 16GB Kit (8GBx2) so I had room to add more. I don't see any O/S so I'm guessing you already have that. I think it will be a cool rig (3 x140MM fans will help ensure that), you know my old lady always say white shows dust and dirt more then any other color, but with the Red fans it can look cool; have fun with it and enjoy your new rig.

Yea, I know. I'm waiting a bit to purchase this to see if the prices of anything go down. Otherwise, I'll have to make a few changes to lower the price. I'm trying to get it for $1800 right now.

Thanks for the advice, and there is an OS in there! :p

And I dont think I'll need to upgrade to 32GB for a while, if ever. If I need to, I can just buy a new kit. It shouldn't be any time soon so I have time to save up.

I agree with larger SSD, also most people I've seen that go with the Sabertooth go with Ballistix Sport LT RAM which is 2400. According to PCPP the 170 S only supports 2133 and 2400 whereas the other 170 boards like the A or Pro Gaming support up to 3400 and have more SATA 6g ports for less $$.
