my new psu just arrived today and after i installed it i saw that it dosent always spin. its installed in the top of my case and the fan pointing down. but after about 15 minutes of load it crashes. but if i take it out and point the fan up it works fine. is there any solution for this or do i need to return it?

Although we know your PSU's make and model, you didn't state what it's powering since the components in your system combined will have a bare minimum and maximum power requirement from the PSU. Often times when the PSU fails to deliver the power the system needs the PSU will shut itself off. You also need to clarify what you mean by crash...? So if you will, please state the full system specs inclusive of the chassis you're trying to work in.
