The front panel relates to your case. On most cases you will have the following connections that need connected to your motherboard:

1. Power switch
2. Reset switch
3. USB 2.0/3.0
4. LED light
5. Audio

This video will give you an idea of what to do: http://www.pcityourself.com/building/frontPanelConnections.php

You should also refer to your motherboards manual (google manual for *name of your motherboard) and you will see a wiring diagram for it.

This could be a number of things, such as:

1. You have not connected it back up properly.
2. One of your new components is broken.
3. One of the components is not connected properly.
4. Your PSU is not powerful enough for your new setup.
5. Your motherboard is not seated properly in the case and is shorting.

The simplest thing you could do is make sure all the wires are going to correct place (you can find a wiring diagram for your motherboard online) and that all components are properly connected. If that does not work check that you have put all the motherboard screws onto the case and that it is attached properly.

It is possible that your motherboard is damaged but you are going to have to go through a process of trial and error to try and identify the problem.

Here is a list of what you need to do to breadboard your PC: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/faq/id-2176482/breadboarding-stripping-basics-troubleshooting.html

This video shows you how to jump start your motherboard: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FuPZlliGqBw

In order to do this you will need a motherboard speaker, which will cost about £1-£2 from somewhere like Ebay.
