Hey everyone,

This is my first build and I've come into a large amount of problems. All these problem ultimately have made me completely confused.

My Build:

Motherboard: ASUS Z170 Pro Gaming

CPU: Intel i5 6600K

GPU: AMD R9 390 8G VRAM

RAM: G-Skill F4-2133C15Q-16GRR 4x4GB (16GB)

Power Supply: EVGA 750W G2 80+

I have tried 4 different types of RAM, none of them have worked. I checked the CPU pins to see if any were bent, none of them are. I tried breadboarding the motherboard, still didn't POST. I also tried using the onboard graphics and took off my GPU, still didn't work. Got a replacement of the same mobo and once again, I am having the same problem as before. The only consistent factors in everything that I have tried is the DRAM LED light is lit, the one long and two short beeps from the mobo speaker, and the fact that my new build won't POST. PLEASE HELP A NEWBIE.

Thank you

I've tried that before, but since you suggested it I tried it again. Also, I already attempted to POST with the onboard graphics so I feel like re-seating the graphics card wouldn't matter. Like I said before, tried it again, still having the same problems.

I'm using the ASUS VG248Q 1920x1080 144Hz Monitor (it has HDMI/DVI/DisplayPort Inputs; No VGA). I used the 1 stick of RAM and no video card, but same problems.

I've tried it with the HDMI and the DVI connections only. Don't have a DisplayPort cable and the monitor like I said earlier doesn't have VGA.
