I have a Samsung NP700Z5A-SOAUS laptop recently upgraded from Windows 7 to 10 and a Vizio 50D smart HD TV. I want to wirelessly broadcast photos and home videos from my LT to my TV for family viewing over a 25' line of site distance. I previously could do this when using windows 7 and a Warpia SWP100 system but not since I upgraded to windows 10. My computer now doesn't recognize the Warpia USB Dongle. Warpia does not have an upgrade driver compatible with Windows 10. I have queried Intel and downloaded there WiDi compatibility tool and found that my system is not compatible with WiDi and therefore none of the TV receiver only solutions will work since they all require WiDi transmitters in the laptop. I need both a transmitter and a receiver for my system. The best solution I found is the Warpia SWP400 HDMI transmitter-receiver system which is no longer available. Can you recommend a reasonable solution for my problem?
Thank you for your help,
Chaspark

I cannot address the technology you are currently using.

However I have used Chromecast for just what you want to do with great success. The Chromecast TV dongle is US$35.00 if you want to try it.

Chromecast doesn't work directly with all media players, but it will cast any video that can play in Chrome. It also works with Plex media server, something that can greatly expand the ability to stream your media. Google generally has a reasonable return policy if you don't like it.
